How It Works describes the three-step workflow behind Ariane RDS: Sense, Decide, Execute. Ariane continuously monitors a retailer's full SKU estate and converts every signal into a structured, valued, and prioritised decision.
In step one, Ariane surfaces what matters by analysing sales index, margin, stock cover, promotional performance, and shopper behaviour to identify exactly where action is needed each week, covering sales and margin trends, shopper and category rescue signals, stock cover anomalies, and cannibalisation signals.
In step two, Ariane builds a structured Decision Card for every opportunity, including a recommended action, a financial impact, a deadline, an owner, and built-in escalation paths.
In step three, the retailer's team decides, or Ariane executes automatically within guardrails the team defines. Each approved decision generates an executable output such as a range update, a promo plan, a shopper campaign, or a supplier negotiation brief, with manual validation, agentic execution, and a full audit trail available depending on how much control the team wants to retain. Retailers using this workflow report a sales increase of 2.5 to 4.5 percent across categories, 30 to 40 percent time saved per category manager per week, and margin recovery of 0.3 to 0.6 percent.
