A Decision Centre is a focused workspace for one type of commercial retail decision. Rather than searching through dashboards and reports, everything is pre-analysed and queued, so a retailer's team approves, rejects, or escalates each decision card and moves on. There are 6 Decision Centres, no dashboards to search, and one action per decision card.
Each decision card carries a recommended action, a rationale, a financial impact, a deadline, and an owner. The parameters that drive the underlying logic, such as distribution thresholds, margin floors, promo ROI minimums, store cluster models, and traffic decline triggers, are calibrated to each retailer's own strategy rather than a generic default.
Every decision card points to a node in the Ariane causal chain, connecting commercial levers such as range, promotion, price, and distribution, and operational enablers such as inventory and supplier, through to shopper behaviour, sales, and margin. This lets a retailer's team always know which lever is being pulled and why.
The 6 Decision Centres are Price, Range, Promotion, Shopper, Inventory, and Supplier. The Price centre performs a top-line audit, monitoring margin and sales results to protect P&L from baseline erosion, with weekly variance tracking.
